CUET PG 2026 Registration: The National Testing Agency has renamed the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) as the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET). CUET-PG is a common entrance examination for postgraduate programmes, offering a single platform and equal opportunities for admission to 42 participating universities.
The National Testing Agency, NTA, has scheduled CUET PG 2026 Registration from 14th December 2025 to 14th January 2026.

CUET PG 2026 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have passed a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination or Candidates who are pursuing their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Examination and appearing in the Final Year of their Bachelor’s degree/equivalent examination in 2026, are eligible to appear in CUET (PG)- 2026.
- There is NO age limit for candidates appearing in the CUET (PG)-2026 examination.
CUET PG 2026 Exam Pattern
The Examination shall be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.
Examination Duration: The duration of the examination will be 90 minutes.
Number of Questions: Each question paper will comprise 75 questions.
Marking Scheme:
- Each question carries 04 (four) marks.
- For each correct response, the candidate will get 04 (four) marks.
- For each incorrect response, 01 (one) mark will be deducted from the total score.
- Unanswered/unattempted responses will be given no marks.
How do I apply for CUET PG Application Form 2026?
The candidates have to fill out the CUET PG Application Form 2026 to get registered for the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) once the application process starts. Follow the below steps to fill CUET PG 2026 Application Form.
- Step 1 – Visit the official website of the CUET PG to fill out the CUET PG Application Form 2026.
- Step 2 – Click on the text reading ‘Registration for CUET(PG)-2026 is Live now’ appearing on the top.
- Step 3 – After clicking, a new page appears, click on “Registration for CUET(PG) -2026” and you will be redirected to the CUET PG 2026 Application Form.
- Step 4 – Complete the registration process by entering details like the program applied for, name, valid e-mail-id, mobile number, date of birth, and verification code displayed on the screen.
- Step 5 – Once all details are submitted, the application number and password are generated and sent to the registered email address and mobile number.
- Step 6 – Use the application number and password to log in and fill up the application form by entering the login details like personal, academic qualifications, and communication address.
- Step 7 – Upload scanned images of a recent passport-sized photograph and signature in the prescribed format and dimensions.
- Step 8 – Select the examination centers- In order of preference, select and enter the exam centers.
- Step 9 – On successful online application submission with payment of fees through an automated e-mail and SMS is sent to the registered e-mail ID and mobile number.
